£1403.62 raised for the Tamworth Masjid Project!

Our Academy has just completed another fantastic project working closely with Raise for Life who have been spearheading a project to raise funds in order to establish the first Masjid & Community Centre for the people of Tamworth.

The children at Alum Rock Football Academy raised £1,402.62 towards the overall total of just over £45,000. That is an incredible achievement when you consider that most of the money was raised by our younger kids who are still in primary school! We are so proud of your efforts!

Our coaches took part in the Regency 10K charity run in Leamington Spa as part of their commitment to sponsor the project, and managed to complete the race in good time.

The ultimate success of this project is the belief it has given to our younger members that huge differences can be made with tiny contributions.
