Champions League Night at the Etihad!

Have you ever been to watch a football match hoping to see an exciting game only to witness a dull 0-0...?

Well that was definitely NOT the case during Alum Rock Football Academy's visit to the Etihad where the kids were treated to 7 Man City Goals against Schalke!

Alum Rock Football Academy had previously given a couple of the kids (Zeeshan & Mohsin) free tickets to the game for their exemplary behaviour and great attitude and so we all set off up the M6 on Tuesday afternoon in hope of seeing some entertaining football with the tie finely poised at 3-2 to City after the first leg in Germany.

And boy were we in for a treat! Final score Man City 7-0 Schalke (10-2 on aggregate)

The only negative was listening to Coach Ziarab praising City non-stop all the way back down the M6.

We are planning more fun days out like this in the near future!
